Immediate Past President, Donald O. Case
Donald O. Case holds the Ph.D. in Communication Research from Stanford University (1984) and the M.L.S. from Syracuse University (1977). He has been a Professor in the University of Kentucky College of Communication and Information Studies since 1994, and was Director of the School of Library and Information Science for three years. Before joining UK, Donald Case was a faculty member at UCLA, from 1983 to 1994. He has been a Director at Large on the ASIS&T Board for the last three years, and has been a member of the Editorial Board of JASIST for 15 years. Case’s book, “Looking for Information: A Survey of Research on Information Seeking, Needs, and Behavior” (2002) was given the ASIS&T “Best Book of the Year” Award.
