The chairs of the ESC and EC held an online virtual hour for members and non-members on July 1 (4-5 PM CEST) via zoom.
Online Mini Conference, Research Tips and Methods, August 25, 2020
The ASIS&T European Chapter and the ASIS&T European Student Chapter jointly hosted a mini conference on research tips and methods, held August 25th for one hour via Zoom. Three presenters offered flash presentations five minutes in length, followed by discussion:
- Dr. Alison Hicks, Socially distanced research: Integrating mobile apps into visual methodologies
- Carolanne Mahony, Developing an Information Behaviour Analysis Tool
- Maurice Schleußinger and Katrin Scheibe, Systematic and Scoping Reviews - The “F” in Literature Review is for fun!
ASIS&T President Clara Chu, Stelline Conference, Milan, Italy, September 15-6, 2020
In September, ASIS&T President Clara Chu presented a workshop to colleagues gathered in Milan and online around the world. Chair-elect Crystal Fulton introduced the European Chapter, providing information about the chapter, its work, and membership.
