Is this your first ASIS&T Annual Meeting? If the answer is yes, we have a special low registration rate, just for you! Register before September 9 and you’ll only pay $555 for the full conference. This applies to full conference professional registrations only, members and non-members.
Early registration rates have been extended until Friday, September 9, 2016. Please read our cancellation and refund policies below.
Daily Rates: If you cannot join us for the entire conference, take advantage of our special daily rates. Early bird and member rates are also available on single-day registrations.
Other Rates: Retiree rates are for ASIS&T retired members only. Student rates are available for both members and non-members.

|Full conference non-member registrants will receive a 1 year complimentary ASIS&T membership.|
Full conference registrations include access to all sessions beginning with the keynote session at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, and running through Tuesday evening, October 18; all social events listed in the program, unless otherwise noted, including the Awards Luncheon (additional tickets may be purchased); and one copy of the Proceedings of the Annual Meeting. Non-members registering for the full conference will receive a one-year complimentary ASIS&T professional or student membership (including electronic delivery of JASIST and access to the ASIS&T Digital Library).
Pre-Conference Seminars and Workshops
In addition to the technical sessions and social events scheduled October 16-18, 2016, ASIS&T offers full- and half-day professional education courses on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15. Fees for these seminars and workshops are in addition to regular conference registration fees. If you are registering for a seminar or workshop only, you do not have to pay an additional daily registration fee. You will receive a ticket for each seminar or workshop for which you register. Please make sure you receive the correct tickets when you check in at the meeting.
Diversity and Inclusion Lunch
The ASIS&T 2016 AM conference will host its first Diversity and Inclusion Lunch on Monday, October 17 from Noon to 13:30. This lunch is intended as a social engagement platform to celebrate diversity, discuss challenges, and collaborate on strategies to bolster diversity and inclusion in ASIS&T. ASIS&T Sister Societies
Members in good standing of ASIS&T and sister societies qualify to register at member rates. Our sister societies are Special Libraries Association (SLA), Medical Libraries Association (MLA), American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics (ISSI), Canadian Association of Information Science (CAIS) and Consortium of iSchools of Asia-Pacific (CISAP).
For every group of 6 registrations, one registrant will receive a free registration (at the same or lower rate). Full conference registrations only, all registrations must be submitted at the same time, and ASIS&T reserves the right to determine the complimentary registration. Please contact the registrar for arrangements.
Registration Confirmation and Payments
Once you have submitted your registration, you will receive a detailed e-mail message confirming that you have registered and paid for the conference and/or any courses or workshops. This confirmation will also serve as your receipt of payment. All payments must be received by ASIS&T before the conference begins. We will accept payments onsite, but prefer to receive them in advance to avoid confusion. Early rates end September 9, 2016.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email or fax) by Friday, September 16, 2016, and are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Refunds will be issued in the same manner in which payment was made and may take up to four weeks after the conference ends.
On-site Registration and Conference Materials
On-site registration is available at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers during the on-site registration hours noted here. All speakers and pre-registrants must check in at the registration area to pick up all conference materials.

ASIS&T uses an online submission system to help facilitate job seekers and employers at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting. This is a free service open to all attendees. Only those registered for the meeting will receive a login and password to view posted jobs and resumes. To post jobs or resumes, please visit the ASIS&T website at https://www.asist.org/events/annual-meeting/annual-meeting-2016/jobs/ and follow the instructions indicated there.
Placement Hours: Sunday, 1:00-5:00 p.m.; Monday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 9:00 a.m.-4 p.m.
The 2016 Annual Meeting will be held at Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, in beautiful Copenhagen, Denmark. Rooms are DKK 1.340 (approximately $200 USD) for single or double occupancy, includes breakfast (and applicable VAT). Rates are available if booked by 1 September 2016 or until the block is sold out, whichever comes first.
