The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) is an association for information professionals leading the search for theories, techniques, and technologies to improve access to information. Are you interested in learning about the area where technology and information practitioners come together? Then you have come to the right place!

The ASIS&T student chapter provides UCLA Department of Information Studies students with an active connection to local and national ASIS&T members, activities, and goals. It also aims to help students pursue their interests within the field of information science and technology through the activities and goals of ASIS&T and the Department of Information Studies.

The ASIS&T chapter at UCLA was the recipient of the ASIS&T Student Chapter of the Year award winner in 1995 and 2007.
