AI Certificate 2026

Individuals who completed at least eight of the total 16 modules of the IDEA Institute receive a certificate in AI. The modules are as follows:

  • AI for Data Analytics
  • AI Policy for Libraries
  • AI Trends in Libraries
  • AI-assisted Communication
  • Applications of LLMs in Library Information Organization
  • Challenges with AI’s Large Language Model and how to overcome them
  • Defining AI (panel)
  • The Ethics of AI in Higher Education: A Look at Transparency, Intellectual Property, and Academic Integrity in the Age of Generative AI Tools
  • Evaluating Intelligent Systems: Beyond Benchmarks
  • Identifying Opportunities and Challenges of AI in Library and Information Environments
  • Introduction to generative language models
  • Introduction to Machine Learning
  • Leveraging Interdisciplinary Collaboration
  • Navigating the Complex Contours of Emerging AI
