Navigating Digital Asset Management

This one-hour webinar will focus on best practices for navigating the ever-growing field of Digital Asset Management. In order for DAM initiatives to be successful, certain steps should be followed. This applies to both small and large organizations. The session will be broken down into the following four sections:

  • Buy-in (Communication, Stakeholders, IT Partnership)
  • Business Case (Project Summary, Opportunity Costs, Scope, Assumptions, ROI)
  • Risks & Constraints (Standards, Governance, Project Management)
  • Resource Planning (Funding, Prioritization)

Julie Maher
Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Manhattanville College and a Masters of Science in Information & Library Science from Pratt Institute. She is a seasoned DAM professional and Subject Matter Expert with over 15 years of experience with iconic collections and luxury brands. Julie is the Director of the Education Committee for the Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (ART). She is our leader and advocate for ensuring a successful partnership.

 

 

Alice Merchant
Alice refined her digital imaging skills while receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Professional Photographic Illustration at Rochester Institute of Technology. In the 15 years since RIT, Alice and her teams have been building, implementing, and maintaining DAM systems. She has worked within the SDLC on the client and vendor sides of Project Management Organizations. Alice is our IT and Operations leader.
