SIG-IEP (Information Ethics and Policy)

On behalf of SIG-IEP officers and its members, we congratulate the SIG-IEP Logo Design Contest Winner: Dr. Priya Vaidya.  Dr Priya Vaidya's SIG-IEP logo design concept entry is creative, attractive and contemporary and meet SIG-IEP logo competition criteria.

Dr. Priya's statement behind the design, "A binary tree with emerging branches and stems connotes ever-growing information, producing knowledge through connecting nodes representing documents or interconnected data points. All this data, information, and knowledge originated from SIG-IEP's core objectives (shown at the bottom of the tree), with an assimilative book on one side carried up by a dynamic and versatile ASIS&T (on the other side). The light white shadow beneath the tree signifies the growth of ethical information policies (IEP) based on a strong foundation of knowledge."
