Summer of Tours Nationwide Archives

Hold the dates on your calendar and send in your reservations for some very special library tours this summer. The Central Ohio Chapters of Special Libraries Association and the Association for Information Science and Technology (SLA Central Ohio and CO-ASIS&T) have collaborated to sponsor a “Summer of Tours” and we hope to have you join us. Additional details about the June event are included below and the July tour information is included in the attached flyer. We will have tours on June 26th, July 17th, and August 2nd.

Join the Central Ohio Chapters of Special Libraries Association and the Association for Information Science and Technology (SLA Central Ohio and COASIS&T) as we continue our “Summer of Tours” by visiting the Nationwide Archives!

Parking is available in garages and on-street nearby.

COST: This program is free; however, registration is limited.  All attendees are required to RSVP by to be rescheduled.

Other Important Information: Bring ID for security reasons on day of the event. For those who are interested, we will walk to lunch after the event!

About the Nationwide Archives: The Nationwide Insurance History & Archives Center and Nationwide Library are research, information, and associate engagement services available to Nationwide associates across the country. The History & Archives Center is was reestablished in 2006 after a decade long hiatus. The staff of three professional archivists manage a collection that is approximately 4,000 cubic feet in size and ranges in date from the mid-18th century to the present. The collection contains corporate records related to marketing, communications and advertising, corporate expansion and diversification strategy, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and leadership decision-making processes. In addition to preserving the historical records, photographs and artifacts, the History & Archives Center is also responsible for the corporate art collection.
