iConference 2022 Call for Submissions

As we build our post-COVID-19 realities, we have an unprecedented opportunity to apply information for a better world. In iConference 2022, Information for a Better World: Shaping the Global Future we invite scholars to reflect and contribute through their research and engagement.

Submissions are invited for:

  • Full Research Papers
  • Short Research Papers
  • Posters
  • Interactive Events (formerly Workshops and SIE)
  • Doctoral Colloquia
  • Early Career Colloquia
  • Student Symposium
  • Doctoral Dissertation Award

Research papers are due Sept. 13, 2021, and all remaining submissions are due Oct. 4, 2021. See the iConference website for full details and submission instructions.

ALISE iFederation Panel Session | The Rising Phoenix: Perspectives on Resilience for Education, Research, & Practice

As we start to emerge from the global pandemic and as our society grapples with critical economic, social, and environmental crises, we must implement resilient measures to move forward and evolve in our field of information science. Members of our community must consider the pandemic’s impact on research, education, and practice and create a proactive plan that is even more inclusive, reflective, and robust than ever. Members of the iFederation, made up of ALISE, ASIS&T, and the iSchools will address some of the ways their associations are thinking about and addressing resilience.
