Call for Papers: Journal of Academic Librarianship
The Journal of Academic Librarianship is gathering papers for a special virtual issue on how college and university libraries have integrated, adapted to, or are preparing for AI in higher education. This call is for an online, special issue of The Journal of Academic Librarianship. Papers will be accepted for review on a rolling basis, but priority will be given to those submitted by November 1, 2023.

Call for papers International Society for Knowledge Organization Conference (ISKO 2024)
The Eighteenth International Society for Knowledge Organization Conference (ISKO 2024) will be held in Wuhan, China on March 20-22, 2024. DLF Forum Fellowships/GLAM Cross-Pollinator Awards

In the spirit of DLF’s long-standing commitment to being an open, inclusive community, welcoming members from all all parts of the digital library, museum, archives, and cultural heritage sectors, and making every effort to connect conversations that extend beyond our organizational borders, through Forum Fellowships DLF welcomes new, dynamic voices and valuable perspectives that have enriched our events and larger community.

DLF Forum Fellowships will include:

  • A complimentary room at the conference hotel for three nights (November 12-14)
  • A stipend for travel and incidentals ($650)
  • Invitations to special networking opportunities

GLAM Cross-Pollinator and DLF Forum Fellowships will include the following:

  • Complimentary DLF Forum registration

In return, Fellows agree to share a brief (500 word) reflection on their experiences to be published on the DLF blog after the Forum.

NKOS 2023 
The 2023 NKOS Workshop will be held as part of the International Conference on Dublin Core and Metadata Applications on Thursday, November 9 in Daegu, South Korea. Participation can be in person or virtual. Registration will be free. To enable wide global participation, the workshop will be scheduled as a series of three 3-hour sections to accommodate Asian, American, and European time zones. The NKOS Workshop is seeking submissions for presentations and demonstrations related to Knowledge Organization Systems (KOS) themes and topics listed in the Call for Participation (CFP) - https://nkos.dublincore.org/NKOS2023CFP.html. The submission deadline is Friday, June 16, 2023.
