Dr. Rebekah (Becky) Willson is an associate professor at the School of Information Studies at McGill University (Montréal, Canada). Dr. Willson’s research is in the field of information behaviour and practices – particularly focusing on individuals and groups who are undergoing transitions and living with uncertainty, including academics working on short-term contracts, early career researchers dealing with COVID-19, and early career librarians. Dr. Willson is a member of the JASIS&T Editorial Board, has served as a guest editor for two JASIS&T special issues on information behaviour, and is the co-author for the 5th edition of Looking for Information. Dr. Willson has also served as Chair of SIG-USE, served as Chair of the ASIS&T Research Engagement Committee, and been an ASIS&T New Leader. In 2019, Dr. Willson was awarded the James M. Cretsos Leadership Award from ASIS&T. Dr. Willson has also served as the President of the Canadian Association for Information Science.
