#ASIST25 Update, September 2025

JOIN US AT THE 2025 ASIS&T ANNUAL MEETING!

We are just two months away from the 88th ASIS&T Annual Meeting, happening November 14–18, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA. With almost 500 registrants already confirmed, this is shaping up to be a record-breaking event!

This year’s theme, “Difficult Conversations: The Role of Information Science in the Age of Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence,” promises an inspiring program of cutting-edge research, dynamic sessions, and collaborative learning.

Opening Keynote: Dr. John Symons (University of Kansas) will set the stage with a timely exploration of the ethical and societal implications of AI and information systems.

The 2025 meeting will feature a rich lineup of workshops, symposia, panels, papers, posters, and alternative events, offering attendees hands-on learning and deep dives into emerging topics in information science.

Workshops require a separate registration. If you would like to add a workshop to your existing registration, simply register for it as a stand alone event and it will be combined with your existing registration.

Live Translation

ASIS&T will be offering live translation during the 2025 Annual Meeting sessions. If you are not an English speaker, this will be a great way for you to get the most out of the conference.

Meeting App          

The 2025 Annual Meeting App details will be emailed to registrants a few weeks before the meeting. You will be able to create your own agenda, review the program and speakers, and connect with colleagues.
