Call for Papers: METSTI 2026 Symposium on Informetric, Scientometric, Scientific and Technical Information Research

November 8, 2026 | Bangkok, Thailand (held with the ASIS&T Annual Meeting)

We welcome research papers and work-in-progress on topics including bibliometrics, scientometrics, altmetrics, AI for science, network analysis of scholarly communication, responsible metrics, and more.

This year's theme: Metrics and Sci-Tech Information in a Connected World - exploring how metrics help us understand and foster connections across regions, languages, and disciplines.

Submission deadline: June 15, 2026

Early-stage ideas and novel methodological approaches are especially encouraged. Top papers eligible for best paper awards!

Call for Proposals: Research Symposium at AM26 - submissions close June 30

The Annual SIG-USE symposium will be held as an in-person only event at the Annual meeting in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday, November 7, 8 am-12 pm.

The 26th Annual SIG-USE Research Symposium will explore the use and development of theories in information behaviour and practice through presentations by leading experts and generative roundtable discussions.
