Call for Logo Designers: ASIS&T Africa Chapter Logo Competition

The ASIS&T Africa Chapter invites creative designers, students, researchers, and professionals across the ASIS&T membership to participate in the ASIS&T Africa Chapter Logo Design Competition.

This competition seeks an innovative logo that visually represents the mission, identity, and future vision of the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) Africa Chapter as a vibrant community advancing information science, knowledge sharing, and digital transformation across the African continent.

  1. Design Requirements
  • The logo should represent the ASIS&T Africa Chapter identity
  • Original and unpublished work only
  • Scalable and suitable for use on websites, publications, social media, and promotional materials
  • High-resolution formats (PNG, JPEG, and vector formats such as AI, EPS, or SVG)
  • A short description (Max 250 words) explaining the concept behind the design

    Register here and upload your logo design and a brief concept explanation (Max 250 words)

 

  1. Important Dates
  • Competition Launch: 24 March 2026
  • Submission Deadline: 13 April 2026
  • Voting of shortlisted logos: 20 – 24 April 2026
  • Winner Announcement: 26 April 2026

 

  1. Prize
    The winning designer will receive:
  • Receive official recognition from the ASIS&T Africa Chapter
  • Be acknowledged on the chapter website and communication platforms
  • Receive a certificate of recognition with a $100 prize

 

Intellectual Property
The winning logo will become the property of the ASIS&T Africa Chapter and will be used in all its official communications and branding materials.
