The CUA Student Chapter of the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T) provides an opportunity for its members to share their special concerns and present programs which cater to specific interest as it relates to career goals as information science professionals. The purpose of the Student Chapter is to provide an organization through which student members of the Association of Information Science and Technology within the Drexel iSchool community may participate in and carry forward the programs and purposes of ASIS&T.
We, your colleagues around Europe, organize our activities in the European Student Chapter of ASIS&T and invite you to join us. The European Student Chapter (ESC) is the “little sibling” of the ASIS&T European Chapter (EC) and both chapters closely collaborate with each other.

Members are librarians, academics, computer scientists, linguists, engineers, and scientists of all kinds whose practices involve the organization, retrieval, analysis, or management of information.
The ASIS&T Simmons College Student Chapter runs programs of interest to students. Past examples include tours of local information settings, workshops at Simmons on technical topics, and panel discussions about various associations or alternative careers in information science and technology. While most Student Chapter events are open to all students, preference is given to ASIS&T members for programs with limited space.
