Stanley, MSLS have a combined experience of over 50 years leading information initiatives and their colleagues in successful enterprises such as Fortune 100, for-profit, and nonprofit libraries, international knowledge management and ECM (enterprise content management) consultancies, and international association leadership.  They are recognized experts in the fields of Knowledge Services, career development, and change management.  In this free seminar, they distill and share these experiences and skills in a lively conversation that will challenge, encourage, and equip you to take your information career to the next level.

Dale Stanley

Dale Stanley is a senior consultant with SMR, International. At SMR, he has facilitated the development of knowledge strategies in many international companies and institutions.  He, with Guy St. Clair, created SLA's Click University certificate program in knowledge management and knowledge services and has been presenting these courses for several years. Dale has many years of industry experience leading information groups in pharmaceuticals, medical device, and industrial/office products industries.

 

 

Deb Hunt

Deb Hunt is principal of Information Edge, specializing in enterprise, digital asset, and knowledge management. She is a certified enterprise content management practitioner and co-teaches SLA’s certificate program in knowledge management and knowledge services. Deb has many years of experience leading organizations in and out of the specialized library world.  She is currently Library Director at the Mechanics’ Institute in San Francisco. Deb is the co-author of The Librarian’s Skillbook: 51 Essential Career Skills for Information Professionals and was president of SLA in 2013.
