Webinar: Navigating the Research Maze: Tools and Strategies for Discovering Middle East-Focused Scholarship

Sponsored by: ASIS&T US Middle East Chapter

Accessing high-quality, relevant research is a cornerstone of academic success — particularly for scholars focusing on the complex and dynamic region of the Middle East. Yet, students and researchers often struggle to locate region-specific literature, discover Arabic-language resources, or stay informed about recent developments in their fields.

This workshop is designed to equip emerging researchers and PhD students—especially those studying the Middle East—with the tools, strategies, and resources needed to effectively find, evaluate, and manage scholarly information related to the region.

This workshop places special emphasis on Middle East-focused research, supporting students in disciplines such as political science, history, sociology, anthropology, and regional studies. Participants will also explore best practices for integrating Arabic and English sources in academic writing.
