Dr. Devendra Potnis
Dr. Devendra Potnis is a Professor and Access & Engagement Officer in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research focuses on information access and use, digital inclusion, information literacy, technology adoption, and the role of information and communication technologies in empowering underserved communities. He has published extensively in leading information science journals and has led numerous interdisciplinary and community-engaged research projects. Within the Association for Information Science and Technology, he currently serves as the "Nominating Committee Chair and Advisor" for the Special Interest Group for International Information Issues (SIG-III) and has held several leadership roles supporting international research collaboration, mentoring, and professional development.
