Africa Chapter News
The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) is the preeminent professional association that bridges the gap between information science practice and research. ASIS&T members represent the fields of Information Science, Computer Science, Linguistics, Management, Librarianship, Engineering, Data Science, Information Architecture, Law, Medicine, Chemistry, Education, and related Technology.
Hence, ASIS&T Africa Chapter brings together students, professionals and academics in these fields, who reside or are from Africa.
ASIS&T Africa Chapter would like to sponsor individuals in the region to be members of the prestigious information science association. The sponsorship will prioritize new members and members whose membership has expired for 3 years or more. The membership sponsorship is targeted at 'Developing Nations Tier 1' individual as individuals from 'Developing Nations Tier 2' get a waiver for 2 years.
